Agricultural industry in West Papua Province: An analysis of backward and forward linkages

Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Sector in West Papua Province contributes significantly to the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP). While on employment side, this sector also able absorb a third of workforce province. It indicates important role economy Province. The purpose paper is determine magnitude forward backward linkage agricultural industry combination will produce key industry. Inter-Regional Input Output (IRIO) model 2016 IRIO data was used study. findings show that Food Crops Agriculture; Annual Horticultural Crops, Horticulture, others; Livestock included undeveloped category. Meanwhile, Seasonal Plantations, Logging Industries, are growing industries value-added multiplier all below one where highest value Industry whereas lowest.
